Stream’s Medical Document Review platform condenses complex medical documents into concise indices and summaries, specifically tailored for insurance industry professionals. They provide a Web Application, API, and PDF output options, ensuring that end-users can access information in the most convenient way.

Stream’s Challenges:

Stream generated PDF summaries using ReportLab and sent the documents to remote teams for manual linking to the medical corpuses. This process was time-consuming and error-prone, leading to inefficiencies in document management.

Using Fileforge

Innovation through Collaboration:

The teams at Fileforge and Stream worked closely to tailor the PDF manipulation tools to meet specific needs, deploying features as they were needed. This allowed Stream to leverage Fileforge’s technology to automate the generation and linking of PDF summaries to medical documents, replacing the manual process in less than a week.

Leveraging Fileforge’s API:

Stream uses Fileforge’s document generation API to create PDF summaries with repeating table headers and complex layout features. The API also allows linking to future files, which allows Stream to merge the PDF summaries with the medical documents automatically, without the documents leaving Stream’s premises.
